Hey man. Thanks for using my song Silent Killer '88 in this game. I will see if it fits well. ;)

But there is also with me the downside that the game stops working at the 'Wake UP' button.

punknower responds:

No worries buddy, always be happy to collaborate with other artist on NG :)
Sorry about that, its obviously a sound bug in the game ahah! :D

This is a really good song. The intro is very unusual, but strangely appealing, and reminds me of the earliest works of avant-garde from artists like John Cage and Pierre Schaffer, who would later go on to teach music to one of my biggest inspirations: Jean-Michel Jarre.

Especially the addition of the flute-ish notes and the reverbant bell synth really helped the song grow to massive sizes, while also keeping it small and intimate at the same time. The 808's are catchy, diverse and iconic, and the classic pad instruments give me both a slight sense of nostalgia as well as a sense of rediscovery. Mainly because I didn't grow up in the 80's, and so, I've never really been alive to see the hype around the sounds from the time.

The ending is stunning, with those bells resonating one last time to let that 'feeling' really sink in. Overall, a really good piece of work, and a well deserved 5 stars from me.

It’s nice. It has got a lot of energy, and the percussion is thankfully impactful enough to measure up to all the busy, hyperactive synths that are running through the mix.

It feels pretty bland and repetitive, however. But given how you put just 3 hours of work into it, it’s explainable why that is.

Not a bad song, but it could’ve been loads better, given the potential there was here.

I fully agree with your comment. Thank you for leaving your feedback on my song.

First of all, nice work. I have placed a review here earlier, but I've listened to this song again, and I can appreciate it more now. Secondly, I noticed something pretty cool about this song, because a lot of the instruments that are used here sound almost exactly the same as some of the sounds I have on my own synthesizer. I own a Yamaha PSR-E403, and the piano's, saxophones, basses, brasses, and some of the percussion sounds exactly the same as in this song, so that's also a funny extra for me. Could it be that you recorded this song on one of these Yamaha's?

Anyways, well done. 7.8/10

EagleGuard responds:

Hey man, thanks for the revised review! I actually used the Roland Sound Canvas VA (88 PRO module) for this one, so no Yamaha's were involved. Pretty sure you could get similar results with a Yamaha module, though!

Nice art. What program did you use to make this?

OrangeFluff responds:

Thank you!

I used photoshop mostly and blender for some 3d stuff

Looks like something straight out of Apex Legends. Good job!

Hello everyone. I am a young musician with a strong passion for video editing/creating and making electronic music. Further on I have a part-time job as a promotion video creator, and music is more of a hobby of mine. I might combine them in the future.
