Hello everyone. I am a young musician with a strong passion for video editing/creating and making electronic music. Further on I have a part-time job as a promotion video creator, and music is more of a hobby of mine. I might combine them in the future.

Why I haven’t uploaded for a while

Posted by BlighterProductions - April 10th, 2022

Hello everyone, it’s me again. I wanted to keep you guys up to date. This time, I am not that active for different reasons (I don’t have any physical issues, thankfully), but I started working on a big project, which I expect to be 23 tracks long, and it’s probably gonna drag well into next year.

As a result, I am not gonna be active that much this year, if not at all, but this is to let you know that this channel isn’t dead or anything, it’s just W.I.P at the moment. I intend for the album I am working on to be released next year, so I will have plenty of tracks ready by that time, if everything goes well.

Further on, I think it was just important to let you know where I’ve been. I am very much fine, but just not a frequent uploader. I just want to change formula as well. Instead of releasing tracks once they’re done, I instead want to release an entire cluster of tracks on one release date at the same time, making it feel more of an album.

This idea stems from when I just had released The Career Goes Further. That album wasn’t even really gonna be an album, but rather a compilation of songs that passed the revue (that is to say: songs I approved of). Now, I consciously want to create an album, and I want to put a lot of work and effort into it. To me it’s always been Quality > Quantity. For me, it’s important to make music in a way that I am satisfied with it (I don’t just upload things that I am not happy with, or unfinished, leading to me (almost) never releasing demo’s). I want to keep pushing myself, gather experience along the way, and not to make two songs that sound the same. I want to reinvent myself with every song, and at the same time, keep a certain consistency in my works.

So yeah, that is basically why I didn’t upload that much. So I hope that it doesn’t put your patience to the test too much, but I would much rather put 6 months of work into one song, than to throw shit at the wall, and to see what sticks.

Thanks for reading, and good luck with whatever your goal in life is. 👍🏻

Good that you let us know where you're at. Good luck with your project. I am very curious what it's gonna sound like.
