Hello everyone. I am a young musician with a strong passion for video editing/creating and making electronic music. Further on I have a part-time job as a promotion video creator, and music is more of a hobby of mine. I might combine them in the future.

I just came to realize that my Newgrounds account has been up for three years since today. I honestly don’t know what to say, other than: “Time flies like a fucking demon. Where did those years go?”

Anyways, I’ve been reflecting on the music I wrote in the past, and while my decision already stands that I wanted to change my style a bit, I now have a better sense which direction I want to go. I don’t often listen to my own music, but it’s always fun reflecting on my old stuff. You know, checking what I could do differently, or paying attention to certain details I put in my songs.

So, I got into the NGUAC for the third time now, so if I can put myself to it, Emperor Lands isn’t gonna be the only thing you will hear from me this year, hopefully. I hope to at least make it through the knockout round. If I somehow manage to do that, that’s more than enough for me. I got other priorities too, because there have been only two things that I wanted to make my living of: film and music. While music is a hobby having become more and more fun the more I explore it and practice it, film and movies is probably what I really want to make a living out of.

I am currently writing this from my hotel room in Austria, and I decided, when I am back home, that I want to do an official distribution of my music, so that it is available on Spotify, Apple Music, YouTube Music, Tidal, all those platforms. It will probably no longer be a Newgrounds exclusive to listen to my music, so that’s a benefit. Another one, if I hopefully get noticed, is that I will get enough listeners to make some money from it. At the same time, I will happily continue making more music, more video’s, and try my best to deliver on that.

But there is also something called school. I am entering the final exam classes when the summer holidays are over, so I will also study hard. Very hard. Probably to the point that I can’t deliver as frequently as I did in the period of 2020-21. While I got a big project scheduled, I also need to focus on physics exams. I have been studying my ass off before the holidays, and I will do that too after the holidays, so I think that the holidays are my best hope of putting some material out.

Well, I guess that’s all I have to say. I’m quite sure this is more of a novel than a news post at this point. I want to wish my fellow contestants the best of luck in the NGUAC. I am awaiting a review on my Tryout submission Mount 511, so there’s that too. And further on, I want to wish you guys the best of luck too. Peace out!

There are some more tracks that I didn't officially want to release to Newgrounds because they're either not completely finished or just simply never intended to be released in the first place, but you can find them on my Soundcloud profile. Enjoy your listen. It's probably the last material for this year, unless I find enough time and inspiration to make a track for the KO-round of the NGUAC. They're made because I want to experiment with my styles a bit.

Hello everyone, it’s me again. I wanted to keep you guys up to date. This time, I am not that active for different reasons (I don’t have any physical issues, thankfully), but I started working on a big project, which I expect to be 23 tracks long, and it’s probably gonna drag well into next year.

As a result, I am not gonna be active that much this year, if not at all, but this is to let you know that this channel isn’t dead or anything, it’s just W.I.P at the moment. I intend for the album I am working on to be released next year, so I will have plenty of tracks ready by that time, if everything goes well.

Further on, I think it was just important to let you know where I’ve been. I am very much fine, but just not a frequent uploader. I just want to change formula as well. Instead of releasing tracks once they’re done, I instead want to release an entire cluster of tracks on one release date at the same time, making it feel more of an album.

This idea stems from when I just had released The Career Goes Further. That album wasn’t even really gonna be an album, but rather a compilation of songs that passed the revue (that is to say: songs I approved of). Now, I consciously want to create an album, and I want to put a lot of work and effort into it. To me it’s always been Quality > Quantity. For me, it’s important to make music in a way that I am satisfied with it (I don’t just upload things that I am not happy with, or unfinished, leading to me (almost) never releasing demo’s). I want to keep pushing myself, gather experience along the way, and not to make two songs that sound the same. I want to reinvent myself with every song, and at the same time, keep a certain consistency in my works.

So yeah, that is basically why I didn’t upload that much. So I hope that it doesn’t put your patience to the test too much, but I would much rather put 6 months of work into one song, than to throw shit at the wall, and to see what sticks.

Thanks for reading, and good luck with whatever your goal in life is. 👍🏻

Brief announcement: I am starting a new project. It’s gonna be 18 tracks long, and I expect it to be ready in about 2 to 3 months, depending on how much time and motivation I have to work on it.

So, I just did some graphical designing today in my class with Adobe Illustrator, and I decided that I wanted to make a vinyl disk with my album cover for the Career Goes Further on it, so yeah, let's see what you think of this.

Hey guys, I am glad to announce the following:

  1. My song Techno Voltaire was reviewed by a user called SkyeWint, who gave it a 7/10, which is neat, I guess. This review already came in nearly two weeks ago, and I am really late letting this know, but I have a lot of things on my schedule. Which brings us to the following:
  2. I passed the first round in NGUAC. But I am struggling with a track that I try to finish before Sunday. If I haven't managed by that time, I will just notify them that I'll not make it in time.
  3. I am going to work on a collab with a classmate of mine after the NGUAC submission is ready, whether it's ready before or after the deadline. It might be a next Techno Voltaire, but I'm not so sure about it.

Best regards

Hey guys, BlighterProductions here. I got some things to tell:

  1. I am starting my Soundcloud account on 15-08 (tomorrow), but I already made an account with working links. I will upload the music on it tomorrow.
  2. I am working on a way to bring my music to a lot more people. I have an uncle who is also a musician, and I might ask him what ways there are. I was already thinking of finding a distributor, but I might need some help for that. I just reached adulthood, so I am very new to this stage of life.
  3. I am so hyped right now. That is because I receive a new microphone on Monday. The Blue Yeti X. This microphone records effortlessly on 48kHz/24-bit. That's some fine quality, and I can't wait to use it. I read many recommendations for a microphone for all kinds of goals, and two options were amongst the highest recommended: The HyperX QuadCast, which my friend Modernmods has, and the Blue Yeti. I heard all sorts of stories about this mic, and they're all positive, except for a handful of very little remarks.

So yeah, great times ahead for me. Gonna use the absolute crap out of it, for both my music and my YouTube. Really hyped. See you guys soon.

PS: Still no review on Techno Voltaire Pt. 1. Might consider messaging TaintedLogic again.
